WITCHAZEL ROCKS RICHMOND

The hard rocking trio, Witchazel, took Richmond by storm at Firehouse last night. Although they didn't have any new material, the band still captured the audience by offering totally new versions of known Witchazel tunes.

"It is so cool to see they are back on Firehouse stage rockin' again." says a fan and adds, " I knew they were gonna be back, and I am so glad that I got to be at their first show with the new line-up."

Dan and Paco were forced into sound duties for As of Yet. (they believe the sound man was sucked up into the Berea Triangle, hopefully he will return for the next show with news of the lost tour bus) They did what they could to run sound for the Lexington band. When it was time for Witchazel's rythm section to hit the stage they turned the sound duties over to their road manager, Selin. Like a woman possessed, she went to turning knobs and trimming faders to tweak Witchazel's sound to a head romping, boot stomping frenzy.

Once again Mr.Hall came through with transportation for the band. All the way to Richmond were heard the cries " The Lordmobile Rides Again!"

Witchazel calendar looks fairly barren for the remainder of September.

When asked for a comment Paco replied " uhhm what?" but Dave adds " We plan to take this time to work on some new material as well as some old favorites." Although rumors are that Witchazel plans to add a lead singer to their line up, I guess we will find out at their next scheduled show sometime in mid-October.
