Better and Fallen are now on mp3.com and Riffage.com. For shorter download times, I suggest using one of those servers, they also have the ability to stream the mp3's .

BathTub Mp3's Released!

As "Very Angry Records" and "Shoot'em Where It Counts Records" battle over who holds the contract on the new Witchazel demo, we fans were left in the cold waiting for it's release. The issue in this legal battle seems too complex to go into in this issue, the result is no demos. Although Witchazel management promises to get demos out to the public soon, but has yet to supply us with a time frame.

We here at the Times have got the exclusive! The new tracks are available here and now. Although not a single copy of the new demo (featuring new frontman Lath Motley on lead vocals) has been heard outside the tight nit Witchazel inner circle, we have gotten a hold of the Mp3 files. After a quick review, we dub these "Dr.X's Bathtub Mp3's" well worth the download. They are of a slightly higher quality then his last batch (Now in Stereo!), as the sample rate is much higher. Unfortunately our server is not well equipped to handle the stress of transferring large files such as mp3's over the internet. If you attempt to download these from here we suggest you do it when you have plenty of time on your hands, and preferrably at times of low traffic (early morning, or late night hours). If time is something you can't spare then you can wait as the files will soon start appearing on Riffage.com, and Mp3.com soon. These servers are much more prepared for downloads of this type.

So, as the record execs battle over this issue, we here at the Times provide you with a direct pipeline to the Witchazel tunes, and here they are:

click on the song title to download
**this could take up to a full hour per file**

As for the news on the single "Bonescraper"...It was due to come out of the studio on March 29, and released soon after. Inside sources tell us that this will not come to pass. Rumors are that as the boys in Witchazel grow weary of the battling record tycoons, they get closer and closer to forming their own label. No one in the band could be reached to comment on this.

We here at the Times are also working on making are archives available once again. Look for this to happen soon.

Lynn Won't Step Out Without Makeup

WEST MONROE, La. (AP) - Country music singer Loretta Lynn refused to step outside her tour bus despite pleas from her fans, but it had nothing to do with her celebrity. ``Sorry, she's got no makeup on. You know how you women are,'' the bus driver explained. Lynn's tour bus - with her name painted on the side - was traveling through town Friday when it stopped in a fast-food restaurant's parking lot. ``When they pulled up, I ran over and told (the driver) that if he could get her off the bus, I'd buy her breakfast,'' said restaurant manager Rose Searcy. The singer didn't budge. However, Lynn's performing twin daughters - also without makeup - were eventually coaxed out of the bus and into the packed restaurant, where they posed for pictures. ``They said, 'Our career is over if anyone sees these pictures,''' Searcy said.
