Where's Witchazel?

Where's Witchazel? That is the question that thousands of fans have beeen asking. The last time they were seen was at the Millennium on October 23. They put on quite a show, but have been missing since then.

Th ey have not been seen aat any of the usual spots. The Firehouse seems a bit tamer lately. FFreak Daddy and Sticky haven't been telling any good Paco jokes during the morning show recently. This reporter was determined to answer the question that all of you have been asking. So I packed up my notepad and headed deep into Witchazel territory, "The Beer Palace South".

I tried to infiltrate the fotress, but even armed with my press pass I was still denied access down into the Dungeon. So like any determined reporter would do, I waited.

Eventually the rumble of Paco's bass silenced. The Dungeon gates creaked open. A strange fog preceeded the rockers as they emerged. Dave was the first to come into view. I pried him for the answer that burned in my mind like a searing coal from the center of Hell. As he spoke it all became clear to me.

Dave explained that the Witchazel books have been closed in order to keep up with the scheduled release if their debut CD in late Februrary. For those who can not wait that long for new tracks from the trio, three tracks will be released before the CD itself.

After the release of these three tracks, Witchazel plans to play a few local shows to debut some new material and then head back into the studio to finish off the album.

Before I could get anymore details, Dan and Paco emerged from the Dungeon. I heard the comment "Damn Paparazzi!". Then the two members of the rythm section proceeded to beat me to a bloodt pulp. The eclusive interview with Dave was well worth a few cracked ribs and a minor concussion. It's all in a days work.
